So, how does it work? You just need to follow three straightforward steps:

Determine whether you can or cannot change what’s dissatisfying.
Pinpoint the actions required to enhance your life.

1. Acknowledge where you are in life
The initial step in your journey to level up your life is raising awareness about your current situation.
To do this, take a wheel of like and write down things that bother you, things that you’re neutral about, and things that you love for each life sphere.
Here’s an example illustrating how you might approach this initial step when considering your physical health:
Things that bother me:
My dry skin
How weak my arms are
The length of my legs
Things I’m neutral about:
My fashion style
My nails
Things I love:
The way I do my makeup
My hair
2. Figure out what you can and cannot change
As Eckhart Tolle states in his book The Power of Now, if you don’t like a situation, you only have 3 ways to handle it:
Fully accept it
Remove yourself from it
Change it
Keeping this in mind, before addressing the aspects of your life that leave you dissatisfied, ask yourself if you have the power to influence them.
If you do, you have to come up with a plan to change the situation.
If you don’t, then you have either let it go or fully accept it.
So, go back to the list you created in step 1 and, for each thing that bothers you and you’re neutral about, reflect on whether you have any power to change it.
Then, strikethrough the points that you cannot influence, mark those that you can and, lastly, move to step 3.
3. Strategize how to change your life
Now that you’ve pinpointed what you can change to level up your life, it’s time to craft a plan.
Reflect on the goals you need to achieve and the habits you must cultivate to transform the aspects that bother you or leave you neutral into THINGS YOU LOVE.
Set deadlines, schedule tasks, find a commitment partner. Do whatever it takes to ensure you take action and work on the points you’ve listed. For instance, if you’re dissatisfied with your skin health, adopt a clean eating regimen and establish a skincare routine to stick to. If upper body weakness bothers you, enroll in a weekly gym class.
The essence here is to grasp that taking proactive steps is the key to leveling up your life.
